Roaming Roads and Resilience: Navigating Change in 2024 as A UK Travel Blogger!

New Year 2024

Greetings to all! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a great start to the year 2024.

It has been a while since I last updated my travel blogger UK website. A lot has happened since October 2023. After a long search, I found a place to stay in Waterbeach, Cambridge. It is a beautiful village located about 7 miles north of Cambridge. Though it was a bit pricey, at £750 per month for a room, it was worth it as it had good connections to Cambridge. However, I had to leave by the end of December 2023. This was because I decided to leave my job in Cambridge to find a new challenge and start afresh in 2024.

As of writing this on Wednesday, 10th January 2024, I am currently staying in an Airbnb in Selly Oak, Birmingham. I am waiting for a few things to be sorted out before I can begin one of the two job offers I have received. Since I have a few days to myself, I decided to get back to blogging. I move around a lot and meet loads of strangers on my travels, so I have a lot to share.

I think 2024 is going to be an exciting year for me because I have a few small trips planned here in the UK places like Lake District, York, Edinburgh and a few other locations. I could possibly go abroad to the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium and Germany. So stay tuned for that in the coming months.

In the next few days, I'm going to write a couple of blog posts. One will be about my experience using FlixBus.com for the first time, which was great. However, the second time was awful, and I will share my experience with that. I also want to write about mental health. It is a topic that is close to my heart and an ongoing battle for me daily. However, I am not the only one, and I want to share my thoughts and experiences on this matter.
